Inner demons
In this sculpture, I connected the biblical story of Adam and Eve with the struggles people go through. In the story, the serpent tempted Eve to eat the apple. The sculpture shows the snake woven into a person's face and torso, serving as a powerful visual metaphor for the complex interplay of good and evil within oneself. It reflects the ongoing fight with our inner struggles.

Diversity within unity
Replacing the head with a coral-like form in a torso signifies the unity and diversity of organisms in the world, each contributing to the creation of various structures and habitats. Just as corals come together to form intricate ecosystems, this imagery represents the collective effort and adaptability of organisms to coexist and thrive, showcasing the beauty of diversity within unity.

Two Homes
These are two photo-collaged images I created using photographs I took in Guatemala and Chicago, my two homes. By layering elements from their walls, streets, and textures, I explore the visual and cultural landscapes that have shaped me. Printed using risograph, the work merges both cities into a shared narrative, combining the colors, memories, and rhythms of the places that made me who I am.
